while we may never stop having a “consumer” mentality, can we strive for a “conscious consumer” mentality?
enter passive buildings! as a concept, its a holistic approach to design and takes into account practices (some of which are around for ages!) and technologies (some of which are cutting edge!) that are centered around providing thermal comfort at optimal energy usage-aka passive.
